Computed/Digital Radiography Level I Online Course (799.00)

This 40-hour online course will provide technicians, engineers, and manufacturers with an in depth look into both digital and computed radiographic techniques.

This course focuses on the theory and principles of radiation and their application to radiography. Subjects also included in this course include handling and processing radiographic film, radiography techniques, image quality, basic radiographic interpretation and the safe use of RT equipment. Both X-Ray and Gamma Ray sources are analyzed along with technique development guidance and advanced radiation safety.

This 40-hour course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105) and NAS410 (Non- Film).

Computed/Digital Radiography Level II Online Course (799.00)

This 40-hour online course continues with the technical production of proper radiographic imaging. Study materials focus on optimizing contrast, definition, sensitivity, film processing, interpretation, calculations, shot techniques, and utilizing acceptance criteria per relevant codes and standards. This course gives an in depth look into both digital and computed radiographic techniques and terminology, handling and care of phosphor imaging plates (CR), and Digital Imaging plates.

This course is required for those who have completed RT I and want to advance to a higher certification level.

This training course includes our 16-hour Online Digital and Computed Radiography course which covers extensively the techniques, Terminology, Calibration, IQI and RQI, System Performance Checks, Software Functions, Imaging Plate Care and Handling and more.

After you have completed the 16-hour online portion of the course you will attend 2 days (16 Hours) of equipment familiarization training at our Baxter, MN facility using Carestream DRX-Plus GOS Panel and the HPX-PRO scanner and software.
